The line between car racing and technology is getting thinner and thinner.
In most race cars nowadays, there’s a plethora of tech gear that allows for precise adjustments of anything from fuel delivery mixture to tire pressure and heat monitors. Now, with Intel’s new partnership with Ferrari, there will soon be a new way for racing teams and drivers to monitor and perfect their racing skills and strategy.
The plan is to use camera drones and other fancy equipment to track the cars and capture their behavior to then send this data back to the pit crew for them to analyze and act upon.
Some of the information and videos taken by the drones will be available for viewers to enjoy and enhanced viewing experience with more camera angles and more stats!
